Description
Monochaetum vestitum (also called vestite monochaetum, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the Melastomataceae family. It is native to the tropical and subtropical regions of the Americas, from Mexico to Argentina. It is found in moist, shady habitats, such as rainforests, cloud forests, and montane forests.
