Description
Miconia vittata (also called Striped Miconia, among many other common names) is a shrub or small tree species native to the Atlantic Forest biome in Brazil. It has a dense, rounded crown and can reach up to 8 meters in height. It prefers moist soils and can be found in open areas, along roadsides, and in secondary forests.

Miconia vittata has white, bell-shaped flowers with a yellow center. The seeds are small and black, and the seedlings are small and green.
