Description
Miconia resimoides (also called Resimoid Miconia, among many other common names) is a shrub or small tree, typically growing to a height of 4-5 m. It is native to the Caribbean, Central America, and South America, and is found in tropical and subtropical moist lowland forests, tropical and subtropical moist montane forests, and disturbed areas.

Miconia resimoides is used in traditional medicine for treating fever, stomachache, and skin diseases. It is also used as a source of timber and for making furniture.
