Description
Memecylon subramanii (also called 'Subramani's Memecylon', among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the Melastomataceae family. It is native to the Caribbean, Central and South America, and is found in tropical and subtropical moist lowland forests. It is a small shrub with a rounded crown and elliptic leaves that are dark green on top and white below. The flowers are white and the fruits are purple.
