Description

Medinilla uncidens (also called Uncut Medinilla, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the Melastomataceae family. It is native to the Philippines and grows in moist, shady forests. It is an evergreen shrub, usually growing up to 1.5 m tall and 2 m wide, with dark green, oval-shaped leaves and clusters of bright red flowers that are uncut.
