Chaetogastra pendula (also called the Hanging Grasshopper, among many other common names) is a species of grasshopper found in Central and South America. It is a small grasshopper, with a body length of up to 1.5 cm. It is found in grasslands, savannas, and other open areas, and is native to Mexico, Guatemala, and Costa Rica.
