Description

Cambessedesia tiradentensis (also called Tiradentes Cerrado, among many other common names) is an evergreen shrub or small tree native to Brazil. It has a dense, rounded crown and can reach up to 10 meters in height. Its leaves are simple, opposite, elliptic-lanceolate, and measure up to 8 cm in length. It is found in cerrado vegetation, in the states of Minas Gerais, Goiás and Mato Grosso do Sul.
