Description

Cambessedesia pityrophylla (also called Cambessedes' Cambessedesia, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the family Melastomataceae. It is native to Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru. It is found in humid montane forests at elevations of 1,400–2,800 m.
