Description

Blakea punctulata (also called Punctulate Blakea, among many other common names) is a shrub or small tree of the family Melastomataceae. It is native to the Andes of Colombia and Ecuador, where it grows in humid montane forests. It has ovate-lanceolate leaves that are up to 8 cm long and 4 cm wide, and white flowers with yellowish spots.
