Marchantia globosa (also called Common Marchantia, among many other common names) is a species of liverwort in the Marchantiaceae family. It is found in North America, Europe, and Asia. It grows in moist, shady places, such as woodlands, meadows, and stream banks.

Marchantia globosa has small, green flowers with yellow anthers and a single style. The seeds are small, black and globose. The seedlings have a single cotyledon and a short hypocotyl.
