Description
Marchantia foliacea (also called Leafy Marchantia, among many other common names) is a species of liverwort in the Marchantiaceae family. It is a small, thalloid liverwort with a green coloration, and its thalli are typically 1-2 cm in diameter. It is native to South America, and is found in tropical and subtropical moist montane forests, as well as in disturbed areas.
