Sterculia comorensis (also called Comoros kapok tree, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the family Sterculiaceae. It is a large tree, native to the Comoros Islands, growing up to 30 m tall. It is found in humid forests, from sea level to 1,000 m altitude.
