                            Sphaeralcea psoraloides (also called Psoraloides Globe Mallow, among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant native to the southwestern United States and northern Mexico. It grows in dry, open areas, and prefers sandy or rocky soils.

                            The flower of Sphaeralcea psoraloides is a bright pink, five-petaled bloom with a yellow center. The seed is a small, dark brown, round capsule. The seedlings are small, green, and have five leaves.
