Scaphopetalum paxii is a fast-growing, evergreen shrub that can reach up to 10 feet in height. It prefers full sun to partial shade and well-drained soil. Propagation is best done by cuttings taken in late spring or early summer. The cuttings should be taken from the tips of the branches and placed in a rooting medium such as sand or perlite. Keep the cuttings moist and in a warm, humid environment until they have rooted.
