                        Description
                        
                            Malacothamnus foliosus (also called Foliose Malacothamnus, among many other common names) is a perennial shrub native to California. It has a woody stem and can reach up to 1.5 meters in height. Its leaves are ovate and serrated and its flowers are pink with a yellow center. It grows in dry and rocky habitats.
