Hibiscus uncinatus (also called Hooked Hibiscus, among many other common names) is an annual herbaceous plant native to the southwestern United States and northern Mexico. It has ovate leaves and small, yellow flowers. It is found in dry, open areas such as grasslands, deserts, and scrublands.
Flower, Seeds and Seedlings
The flower of Hibiscus uncinatus is white with a yellow center, and has five petals. The seed is a small, hard, black seed. The seedlings are small, with thin, light green stems and small, light green leaves.
