Description
Grewia lorifolia (also called Lorifolia Grewia, among many other common names) is a shrub or small tree with a spreading crown. It is native to India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam. It prefers dry and moist deciduous forests, and is found at elevations of up to 1,000 meters.

Grewia lorifolia is used in traditional medicine for treating fever, inflammation, and skin diseases. It is also used as a natural dye and in making paper and rope.
