                        Description
                        
                            Dombeya pilosissima (also called 'Wild Pear', among many other common names) is a deciduous shrub or small tree with a rounded crown and a spreading habit. It has dark green, ovate leaves and clusters of small, white, star-shaped flowers in late summer and autumn. It is native to South Africa and is found in woodlands, grasslands, and rocky outcrops.
