                            Desplatsia subericarpa (also called Corky-fruited Desplatsia, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the family Rubiaceae. It is a shrub or small tree, up to 5 m tall, with elliptic-lanceolate leaves, up to 6 cm long. It is native to tropical Africa, from Senegal to Ethiopia, and south to Angola and Mozambique, growing in forests and woodlands.
