Ayenia irwinii (also called Irwin's Ayenia, among many other common names) is a shrub or small tree that grows up to 8 m tall. It is native to the Caribbean and Central America, and is found in dry and moist forests, as well as in disturbed habitats. It has elliptic-oblong leaves that are up to 8 cm long and 4 cm wide.
