Description
Cuphea leptosepala (also called Leptosepalous Cuphea, among many other common names) is a small shrub native to Mexico and Central America. It has small, oval-shaped leaves and grows to a height of about 1 meter. It prefers warm, humid climates and is often found in open woodlands and along roadsides.

Cuphea leptosepala has small, tubular, white flowers with yellowish-green tips. The seeds are small, round, and black. The seedlings have oval-shaped, light green leaves.
