Huperzia pruinosa is a perennial fern that grows best in partial shade and moist, well-drained soil. It can be propagated from spores or from division. Spores should be sown on a moist medium and kept at a temperature of 20-25°C (68-77°F). Once the seedlings have germinated, they should be transplanted into individual containers. Division should be done in spring or autumn.
