Description
Vandellia yamazakii (also called Yamazakii Vandellia, among many other common names) is a terrestrial orchid species native to China, Japan, and Korea. It grows in grasslands, meadows, and forest margins at elevations of up to 1,500 meters. It has a single, erect stem with two lanceolate leaves and a single, terminal flower.
Cultivation and Propagation
Vandellia yamazakii is an aquatic plant that can be grown in an aquarium or water garden. It prefers bright, indirect light and high humidity. Water regularly and fertilize monthly during the growing season. Propagate by division of the rhizome.
