The flower of Fritillaria persica is bell-shaped, with six tepals that are usually yellowish-green in color. The seed is a small, brown, three-angled nutlet. The seedlings are small and slender, with a single pair of leaves.
Cultivation and Propagation
Fritillaria persica is a bulbous perennial that grows best in full sun and well-drained soil. Propagation is best done from offsets taken in the spring or summer. Offsets should be planted in a moist, well-draining medium. Keep the offsets in a warm, bright location and water regularly until they take root.
