Description
Utricularia warburgii (also called 'Warburg's Bladderwort', among many other common names) is a perennial aquatic plant native to South America. It has a creeping rhizome and long, slender, floating leaves. It is found in shallow, still or slow-moving water, such as ponds, marshes, and ditches.

Utricularia warburgii has small, yellow flowers with five petals and a single style. The seeds are small, brown and globular. The seedlings are small, green and have two seed leaves.
Cultivation and Propagation
Utricularia warburgii is an evergreen perennial that can reach up to 1 m in height. It is best grown in full sun to partial shade in well-drained, slightly acidic soil. Propagation is by seed or division. Seeds should be sown in spring or early summer in a warm, sunny spot. Division should be done in late summer or early autumn and rooted in a warm, humid environment.
