Heterocladium heteropterum (also called the winged heterocladium, among many other common names) is a species of moss found in North America, Europe, and Asia. It is a small, tufted moss with green to yellow-green leaves that are up to 2 mm long and have a pointed tip. It grows in moist, shady habitats such as woodlands, meadows, and along streams.
