Litsea himalayensis (also called 'Himalayensis' or 'Himalayensis Laurel', among many other common names) is an evergreen shrub native to the western United States and Canada. It has a rounded crown and a straight trunk with smooth, green leaves. It grows in moist, well-drained soils in open woods, along streams, and in floodplains.
