                        Description
                        
                            Actinodaphne trichocarpa (also called 'Hairy-fruited Daphne', among many other common names) is a small tree or shrub found in rainforest areas of India and Sri Lanka. It has a dense, spreading habit and is often found in sheltered areas of the forest. Its leaves are glossy green and its bark is dark grey. It produces small white flowers in spring and summer.
