Description
Stachys heraclea (also called Betony, Wood Betony, Bishop's Wort, among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant native to Europe and Asia. It has a woody stem and grows to a height of up to 50 cm. Its leaves are ovate-lanceolate and its flowers are pink-purple. It is found in meadows, pastures, and woodlands.
