Description

Salvia recognita (also called Recognized Sage, among many other common names) is an evergreen shrub native to Mexico and Central America. It grows up to 1.5 m tall and has narrow, linear leaves that are up to 8 cm long and 1 cm wide. The flowers are white or pale pink and appear in clusters of up to 10. It grows in open woodlands, scrub, and grasslands.
