Description
Hyptis lacustris (also called Lake Lavender, among many other common names) is an herbaceous plant native to Mexico and Central America. It grows up to 1 m tall and has ovate-lanceolate leaves with serrated margins. It prefers dry, rocky soils and is found in open woodlands, scrublands and dry grasslands.
