Hyptis comaroides (also called 'Cimarron' or 'Cumarú', among many other common names) is a shrub or small tree found in the tropical and subtropical regions of Mexico, Central America, and South America. It has a greyish-brown bark and its leaves are ovate-lanceolate, with a serrated margin. It is found in dry forests, scrublands, and open areas.
