Description

Gmelina elliptica (also called Elliptic Gmelina, among many other common names) is a deciduous tree native to India, Nepal, and Bhutan. It has a straight trunk and a rounded crown. Its leaves are ovate to elliptic in shape and are up to 15 cm long. It grows in tropical and subtropical moist lowland forests, as well as in dry deciduous forests.
