Description
Eriope xavantium (also called Xavante Eriope, among many other common names) is a terrestrial orchid species native to South America. It has an erect stem, up to 40 cm tall, with alternate, linear-lanceolate leaves, up to 10 cm long and 1 cm wide. It blooms in the spring and summer, with yellow flowers, up to 1 cm wide, and grows in grasslands and open woodlands.
