Clerodendrum tomentellum (also called Downy Clerodendrum, among many other common names) is a perennial shrub native to Asia. It has a clump-forming habit and grows to a height of 1–2 m (3–7 ft). It is found in savannas, open woodlands, and along roadsides and is tolerant of a wide range of soils.
