Description
Clerodendrum nhatrangense (also called Nhatrang clerodendrum, among many other common names) is a shrub or small tree with a height of 4-6 m. It is native to tropical Africa and is found in lowland rainforests, moist woodlands, and along streams.
Flower, Seeds and Seedlings
Clerodendrum nhatrangense has white flowers with five petals and a yellow center. The seeds are small, black and round. The seedlings are small and have a single stem with small, oval-shaped leaves.
Cultivation and Propagation
Clerodendrum nhatrangense can be propagated by seed or cuttings. It prefers full sun and moist, well-drained soil. It is tolerant of drought and heat, but will not tolerate wet soils. It can be grown in a variety of soils, including clay, sandy, and loamy soils. It is best grown in a sunny location, but will tolerate some shade. It can be grown in containers or in the ground.
