Cantinoa heterodon (also called Heterodon cantinoa, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the family Melastomataceae. It is native to Brazil, and is found in the Atlantic Forest vegetation of the states of Bahia, Espírito Santo, Minas Gerais, Rio de Janeiro, and São Paulo. It is found in humid montane forests.
