Description

Lacistema polystachyum (also called Polystachya Lacistema, among many other common names) is a shrub that grows up to 2 meters tall. It is native to the Brazilian Cerrado and is found in open woodlands, scrublands and savannas. It has alternate, lanceolate leaves that are 5-10 cm long and 2-3 cm wide, and white flowers with yellow anthers.
