                        Description
                        
                            Alfaroa costaricensis (also called 'Costa Rican Alfaroa', among many other common names) is a small evergreen tree that grows up to 10 m tall. It is native to Central America and grows in tropical forests. The leaves are pinnate and the flowers are yellow with red spots.
