Description
Isoetes savatieri (also called Savatier's Quillwort, among many other common names) is a small, evergreen fern with long, narrow, dark green fronds. It is native to the Falkland Islands, and grows in moist, shady places, such as in the understory of rainforest.

Isoetes savatieri is a fern species native to the Canary Islands and Madeira. It can be propagated by division of the rhizomes or by spores. It prefers moist, well-drained soil and partial shade. It is drought tolerant and can be grown in full sun.

Isoetes savatieri can be found in wet meadows, marshes, and shallow ponds in the western United States and Canada.
