Orthrosanthus laxus (also called Slender Morning-Star, among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant native to Mexico. It has a tufted habit and grows up to 30 cm tall. The leaves are linear and the flowers are white. It is found in open meadows, grasslands, and disturbed areas.
