Cultivation and Propagation

Mittenothamnium evrardii can be propagated by spores, which are released from the sporophyte. The spores can be collected and sown on a suitable substrate, such as a peat-based compost. The spores should be kept moist and in a warm, shaded area until they germinate. Once the spores have germinated, they can be transplanted into individual pots and grown on in a warm, humid environment. The plants should be kept moist and in a bright, indirect light.
