Hypericum elongatum (also called Elongated St. John's Wort, among many other common names) is a small evergreen shrub native to Central and South America. It grows up to 2 meters in height and has a trunk diameter of up to 0.2 meters. It is found in tropical and subtropical moist lowland forests and moist montane forests.
