Hymenophyllum lehmannii has small, yellowish-green flowers, which are followed by small, brownish-black seeds. The seedlings are small, with a single pair of leaves.
Cultivation and Propagation
Hymenophyllum lehmannii is a terrestrial fern native to Central and South America. It is a small to medium-sized fern that grows in moist, shady areas. It is best propagated by spore sowing. The spores should be sown on a moist, sterile medium and kept in a warm, humid environment until germination occurs. Once the seedlings have emerged, they should be transplanted into individual containers and grown in a warm, humid environment.
