Description
Sycopsis triplinervia (also called Three-veined Sycopsis, among many other common names) is a species of evergreen shrub or small tree in the family Thymelaeaceae. It is native to eastern China, from Sichuan to Fujian. It grows in open forests and shrublands at elevations of 1,000–2,000 m.
Uses & Benefits
Sycopsis triplinervia is used as a medicinal plant and also as an ornamental plant. It is also used as a source of timber and fuel.

Sycopsis triplinervia has small, white flowers that are clustered in a terminal inflorescence. The seeds are small, black and shiny. The seedlings are erect with lanceolate leaves.
Cultivation and Propagation
Sycopsis triplinervia is propagated by seed. It prefers a warm, humid climate and well-drained soil. It is tolerant of light shade but prefers full sun. It needs to be watered regularly and fertilized twice a year.
