Description
Rhodoleia parvipetala (also called Small-petalled Rhodoleia, among many other common names) is a species of evergreen shrub or small tree in the family Hamamelidaceae. It is native to the Himalayas, from Nepal to Bhutan. It grows in open forests and shrublands at elevations of 1,500–3,000 m.
Uses & Benefits
Rhodoleia parvipetala is used as an ornamental plant and also as a medicinal plant. It is also used as a source of timber and fuel.

Rhodoleia parvipetala has small, white flowers that are clustered in a terminal inflorescence. The seeds are small, black and shiny. The seedlings are erect with lanceolate leaves.
