Marsupella alata (also called 'Winged Marsupella', among many other common names) is a species of moss native to Japan, China, and Korea. It is a medium-sized moss, growing to a height of 2-3 cm. It is found in moist, shady habitats, such as on the ground in forests, or on rocks near streams.
