                        Description
                        
                            Ribes malvifolium (also called mallow-leaved currant, among many other common names) is a deciduous shrub that grows up to 2 m (6.6 ft) in height. It is native to North America and is found in moist forests, thickets, and rocky slopes. It has alternate, simple leaves and small, yellow flowers.
