Description

Gnetum oblongum (also called Oblong Gnetum, among many other common names) is a species of Gnetum native to Southeast Asia. It is a shrub or small tree growing to 10 m tall. The leaves are spirally arranged, lanceolate, 8–15 cm long and 2–3 cm broad. The flowers are inconspicuous, greenish, and the fruit is a red drupe containing a single seed.
