Description
Sticherus umbraculifer (also called Filmy Fern, among many other common names) is a small, terrestrial fern native to South Africa. It is a perennial plant that grows in moist, shady areas. Its fronds are divided into many thin, thread-like leaflets and are usually green in color. The stems are covered with a brown, scaly bark.
